1. Purpose

This policy sets out what is and isn't allowed on Gigvora. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. Be honest

  • Use your real identity, or your organisation's, and don't impersonate anyone, including Gigvora staff.
  • Describe your skills, experience, listings, prices and availability accurately.
  • Don't post fake reviews, ratings, verification claims or metrics, and don't pay or pressure others to do so.

3. Communicate respectfully and lawfully

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or sexual content directed at others.
  • No unsolicited bulk messages, chain messages or automated outreach. Contacting someone about a specific, relevant opportunity is fine; mass messaging is not.
  • Don't share other people's personal data without a lawful reason.
  • Don't send malware, phishing links or files designed to cause harm.

4. Keep payments on the Platform where required

Where the Platform provides the payment flow for a piece of work, don't ask for or offer payment outside it to avoid fees or protections. Never ask for payment by gift cards or cryptocurrency transfers to settle Platform work.

5. Prohibited work and listings

You must not use Gigvora for illegal goods or services, work that infringes intellectual property, academic dishonesty (such as completing assessed coursework for someone else), weapons, adult services, or anything that requires a licence you don't hold.

6. Protect the Platform

  • Don't scrape, overload, probe or bypass security or rate limits.
  • Don't create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or blocks.
  • Don't use AI agents or automation to take actions on the Platform beyond what the Platform's own approval controls allow.

7. Enforcement

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that break this policy, taking into account how serious the breach is. Where appropriate we'll explain the decision and how to appeal. You can report content from any conversation, profile or listing.
