1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Gigvora, including the website, the web application and the mobile apps (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by [company legal name — to be confirmed], a company registered in England and Wales under number [company number — to be confirmed], whose registered office is at [registered address — to be confirmed] ("Gigvora", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you use Gigvora on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" includes the organisation.

2. What Gigvora is

Gigvora is a marketplace and workspace that helps people and organisations find each other, agree work, communicate and manage that work. Unless a page clearly says otherwise:

  • Gigvora is not a party to the agreements you make with other users (for example a gig order, project, task, service booking or job).
  • Gigvora does not employ freelancers, tradespeople or service providers listed on the Platform.
  • Information in profiles and listings is provided by users. Where Gigvora has checked something (for example identity or business verification), the Platform says so next to that item and describes what was checked.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Organisation accounts are administered by their owners and admins, who decide who can join and what each member can do. Membership of an organisation does not give anyone access to another member's personal workspace.

We may require additional checks, such as multi-factor authentication or identity verification, before you can use some features.

4. Using the Platform

You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular you must not use Gigvora to mislead people, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to take payments for Platform work outside the Platform's payment flow where that flow is required, or to break the law.

5. Payments and fees

Where the Platform handles a payment, the fees, payment timing and refund rules that apply are shown to you before you confirm. Payment processing is provided by our payment partner and subject to its terms. Gigvora does not hold funds on your behalf as a stored-value account.

Fees, payment protection, cancellation, refunds and disputes are described in separate policies that will be published before paid features are offered. Until then, no paid transactions are processed through the Platform.

6. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give Gigvora a licence to host, display and process that content only as needed to operate the Platform and to provide the features you use. Ownership of work you produce for another user is governed by your agreement with that user.

The Gigvora name, logos and Platform software belong to Gigvora and its licensors.

7. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest content or carry out actions you approve. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for checking it before you rely on it or send it to others. The Platform asks for your approval before an AI agent takes actions that affect other people, spend money or change records.

8. Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time from your settings. We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms, puts other users at risk or is required by law. Where appropriate we will tell you why and how to appeal.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these Terms do not affect.

[Limitation-of-liability wording — requires qualified legal review before approval.]

10. Changes to these terms

We will give reasonable notice of material changes, and the Platform records which version of these Terms you accepted. The version history for this document is shown on this page.

11. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Questions about these Terms: [legal contact email — to be confirmed].
