What else helps

Tools for your first piece of work

Entry-level search

Filter the Explorer by experience level, including entry level, to find work pitched at people starting out.

Fair exposure for new profiles

For your first 60 days, search gives new providers a small, capped boost so you can be seen next to established profiles. Relevance still comes first.

Career Studio

Write CVs and cover letters, keep versions and export a PDF. Everything stays private until you use it.

Opportunity Scout

Ask the Work Agent to search open work that fits your skills and save a reasoned shortlist.

Getting started

Your first week

  1. Create your profile

Add your skills and what you'd like to do. Nothing is public until you choose.

  2. Start a pathway

Pick the launchpad that fits and adjust its steps.

  3. Record what you've done

Add study projects, placements, volunteering and courses as experience.

  4. Go for it

Apply for jobs, send a proposal or publish your first Gig.

Straight answers

What this programme is — and isn't

It is

  • Free — there's no charge to join, build a profile or follow a pathway.
  • Your own records: experience you add is labelled as self-reported, never as verified.
  • Open to anyone, at any stage of their career.

It isn't

  • A guarantee of work or interviews — clients and employers make their own choices.
  • A paid placement or bid-credit scheme. There are no paid bid credits on Gigvora.
  • A mentoring or training provider. Courses you take are your own.
